The images in this album are stunning. What is normally reserved for modernist poetry has been brought into Imogen's beautiful voice, and I have to say that this album is simply captivating. It is her best singing to date, with more range than she has ever shown in any album before it, and with more emotion felt in key words. Really a triumph for her. Details and Ellipse are basically apples and oranges, so don't go into this album thinking it will sound very similar.
Track ordering is the most lucid I've ever seen from Imogen, which is nice because it really feels like a complete album.
