One of the most critically underrated albums ever. Favorite tracks: Who Feels Love?, Gas Panic!, Roll It Over

By far the worst Oasis album, bought it the day it came out, played it non stop for a week to see if it would grow on me but have to say it didn't. Didn't listen to it again until about 18 months ago on the insistance of someone I work with who likes it. 11 years on, I have to say that it was as bad as I remembered. The only highlight for me that I'd completely forgotten about is Where Did It All Go Wrong, which is an overlooked Noel classic.

SOTSOG isn't that bad, really, considering it has some fine cuts throughout. Honestly, Oasis could have made a really good EP from the five or so best tracks, but the rest of the album weighs it down and marks it as decidedly less than its predecessors.

Let's All Make Believe, I'll also say, is the best Oasis song of the 2000s, and this album would have been so much better had it been on the track list.

Disappointing and an album I’ll never listen to ever again, F ing In The Bush’s and Go Let It Out are ok the rest of the album is lame. This was where Oasis lost me as I knew they were to never return to the glory of their first 2 albums . I think even Oasis knew at this point it was the beginning of the end

A mish-mash album that could've been a great album after the 'Oasis-by-numbers' record that was Be Here Now. This albums problem is that it doesn't know what direction to take.

The best moments are the more experimental, psychedelic songs like 'Who Feels Love?' and 'Gas Panic' - which should've been how the whole album sounded. Then theres the more ballad-esque moments in the Noel-sung songs which work well with the heavier moments but don't stand up to earlier efforts of melancholy like 'Talk Tonight' or 'Half the World Away'. 'Go Let it Out' is a great single which had elements of both psychedelic experiment as well as incorporating classic Oasis melodies. 'Roll it Over' is a great closer too but some of the songs are dire such as 'Put Yer Money...' and 'I Can See a Liar' which are turgid rockers on an album trying to be more introspective and colourful. 'Little James' isn't a bad first attempt at writing for Liam but the song gets brought down by some insipid lyrics - ones that Chris Martin would be proud of though. He'd improve ten-fold for later cuts such as 'Songbird' and 'I'm Outta Time'

Overall the album is a missed opportunity, but a decent try that is more daring than the follow-up 'Heathen Chemistry' which is their safest, least ambitious and frankly most boring album.
