Here`s my two cents : Iron Maiden never made a really bad album ,
(maybe some weaker ones) , and this here belongs in their Top-Ten releases .
Really good album. Excellent guitar work throughout. As noted in another review, there is a progressive element which I like.

It was great to have Bruce back as well a 3rd guitarist in Janick. This release gets played regularly on my MP3 at the gym.

Gigantes no Rock in Rio!
El regreso de la bestia a las grandes plazas de las que nunca debió salir con la vuelta al seno de Iron Maiden de Bruce Dickinson y Adrian Smith supuso uno de los mayores acontecimientos en la historia del Metal. La expectación por escuchar a las tres guitarras de Smith, Murray y Gers era enorme y el resultado no defraudó en absoluto, con un 'Brave New World' que reverdecía los viejos laureles ochenteros. El disco suena a puro siglo veintiuno y marca el camino que la banda seguiría en futuros trabajos con canciones de claro carácter progresivo donde lo importante es que la pista se desarrolle correctamente. Bruce Dickinson se muestra pletórico a lo largo de todo el disco demostrando porqué la afición lo considera el mejor cantante de la historia del género. Una banda que ya lo había hecho todo dando una clase y enseñando que aún podía hacer más.

The return of Bruce Dickinson after an eight year break. Brave new world, is easily Iron Maiden's best album since, seventh son. It's epic and ambitious but it doesn't feel overlong or overblown. It doesn't quite have any classic metal anthems that Maiden used to write, in fact it's more proggy than what's come before, still i think this is the best of the Maiden albums made after Bruce rejoined. It proved that the band still had something to offer.
What a comeback for Bruce. Their second best after Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son.
Great album by a great band, even for those not into the Metal scene. My favourites are Blood Brothers and the surprisingly underrated The Nomad.
