Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 3% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 77.3/100, a mean average of 77.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.8/100. The standard deviation for this album is 11.6.

Thdere is sadness and nostalgia as yet another foremost 1960s rock composer and musician, has passed away. This is compensated by an opportunity to re-listenand re-appreciate their work.

This live album was an eagerly awaited follow-up to the classic Deja Vu. It was, and still is, this suberband of suberbands´best live album but more than fifty years on, it no longer sounds as good as their very polished and superbly crafted first two studio releases.

Thanks for the very great music.
David Crosby (1941-2023) RIP

I wish this was like a double studio album instead of live. Loved Deja Vu and wish their personal differences weren't such a problem because when they come together it's often the best stuff either party makes.

It's nice to hear these songs in another context rather than on the original records. The production is a bit muddy but the band is in top form.

A very interesting album showcasing four excellent singer-songwriters in their own right as well as together.
