year in music ranking: #2 of 63, with over 10 albums making it into my top 100 greatest albums chart.
An absolutely incredible year in music ~ my second all time favourite (pipped out by a more amazing 1970) ~ and I feel very blessed to have experienced it in real time and at an age when I could begin to appreciate the magic, the mystery, the magnificence of modern music and songwriting.

Splendiferous chart moondance. Some obvious picks, because they are great albums and should be in everyone’s year chart, but also some great left field pick. Love this chart to bits.
It was you having pirana on your list that brought me here. Great album. Soon to make its way into my 1971 chart
