No Joke is the extremely upsetting follow up to the breakthrough record Too High to Die. Sadly, the group went on a hiatus shortly afterwards.
While Too High to Die was delicate and organic, No Joke is gloomy and uninspired. The group sounds like it is on autopilot, sounding decent as performers on the group's most uninspiring batch of original songs.
