Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 1% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 91.9/100, a mean average of 89.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 91.9/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.1.

An incredible album that is most definitely Radiohead’s best album and their artistic peak and it’s definitely the greatest album of the 1990’s…BUT…I wouldn’t call it the greatest album of all time.

OK Computer isn't just an album; it's an experience. It's a masterpiece that somehow feels more relevant today than it did almost 30 years ago. It's the soundtrack to the paranoia and disorientation we felt with the arrival of the digital age.
The album is a monumental sonic journey, with guitars twisting into beautiful melodies, arrangements that envelop you in a dreamlike atmosphere, and Thom Yorke at the height of his lyricism, exploring loneliness and despair in a world of technological advancement. From the epic and multifaceted "Paranoid Android" to the hypnotic melancholy of "Karma Police," the album captures that sense of modern alienation in a way few works have managed. It's a classic that will never cease to be.

TRUE Classic. Number 1# of all time? I can see it. This album is layered and complicated. I still do not have it all figured out. (Obviously all art is subjective.) I'd give a strong 9.3/10.

Shortlisted for album of the year at the 1998 Grammys. The winner was Time Out Of Mind by Bob Dylan

I do not believe there is a single greater album on this planet, it is so emotionally powerful and the sound is just so amazing and beautiful it never fails to sweep me off my feet.
