Maroon 5's best album. Having just sprung into popularity, every song is an attempt at making a radio hit.
This overly produced squeaky clean pop rock record has less filler then future albums.
It's the only Maroon 5 album that can be listened to start to finish
After this, every album to come is a blatant commitment to sell their hearts and souls for a radio single.
Here they are in between the indie Songs About Jane and The Voice inspired popularity of Adam Levine. It is easier to accept this album as a band making catchy pop rock and the songs here are pretty good.
A pretty catchy album, but nothing more. A tad bit overproduced. Nothing too spectacular, but nothing really bad. The B-side collection was a bit better.
