Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 72.6/100, a mean average of 70.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 72.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 19.5.

Pretty good, even it if has some songs that are not good at all (Ashamed, Yes Please and Recess).

Good compilation, but it's missing a few b-sides like Jimmy Kane.
Shine and Map of Your Head are worth a listen!

The first half is a compilation of b-sides that are probably some of the strangest, creepiest songs Muse have ever recorded. The second half is a compilation of live versions of Muse songs. Muse are always fun to listen to live, so if you're a Muse fan, I would definitely recommend buying this album. Otherwise, maybe listen to a few tracks but not the whole thing.
Best tracks: Hyper Chondriac Music, Map of Your Head, Megalomania (Live)
Worst tracks: Yes Please, Screenager (Live)

While the second disc is just a compilation, the first one is a compilation, too, but a compilation of B-sides, not released on albums. It's wonderful because you can hear there something you can't hear from any other Muse album, some songs are really wonderful, and they were B-sides!

Most definately Muse at their wierdest. Sadly it's short of being something special and sits below the rest of their work at the time. Perhaps too much Radiohead was part of the equation but this doesn't stop it from being a great album.
