Wow. Well this is right up there with Leonard Nimoy or William Shatner's albums in terms of cheese. Burt isn't a bad singer, but these songs... yikes. Part of that is just from being in the early 70's, when a lot of popular radio was just as cheesy. Some of the songs are fine but forgettable, others might be good for a laugh. "The First One That I Lay With" is particularly cringey. "Slow John Fairburn" isn't even a song, just a rambling story about some old guy. "A Room For A Boy Never Used" is another non-song track that really tugs at the heart strings. And then there's the bizarrely progressive(?) "She's Taken A Gentle Lover" about Burt's woman cheating on him with another woman. From the intro: "A triangle is defined as having 3 straight sides. Sometimes, only 1 side is straight". LOL WOW.
