This album bookends the end of the band's classic and most successful period. However, it is the underappreciated gem of this period.
If you are a fan of the rockier side of Steeleye Span found on Commoner's Crown or Now We Are Six then you should listen to this album. A solid release. Sligo Maid and Sir James The Rose are outstanding tracks and can stand up to any of the band's best work.
In my opinion, overall it's certainly better than Now We Are Six and All Around My Hat.
