Strong debut! Tuomas' singing isn't particularly good, but Tarja sounds lovely. You can just tell this album was cut by passionate, young, hungry musicians. This album is loaded with folk and symphonic influences, and must've been hugely influential in the European metal scene of the late 90s.
One of the most underrated debuts in metal.
