I understand this album is in the same discography and In the Nightside and Anthems, but holy fuck I do not understand the wide difference in acclaim. This thing rips. It's ferocious, but its symphonic elements maintain a bit of beauty to the record. I fully believe if this was done by another artist, aside from In the Nightside and Anthems, it would be considered an essential black metal album.
