One of two worthwhile albums by Matt Good. His biting reflections of society meld well with his cutting hooks. Underneath it all, he has a strong sense for melody. Good, but not great.

Apparitions is one of my favourite songs ever. Three other great radio tracks make this a solid outing. The closer Change of Season is a beautiful bonus. One of the best voices in Canrock history.

I always liked MGB but never fell in love with Matt until his oft-brilliant solo career. But good lord, MGB is also great.
I had just moved to Toronto when this came out and they played Lees Palace, been a fan from then on
Incredible artist and album, deserves way more recognition.
