Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 66.8/100, a mean average of 65.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 65.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 22.9.

People really underestimate the influence of Robyn's "Konnichiwa Bitches". Less unrestrained in her braddagio and ldss focused on fun than Uffie, but darker and edgyer for sure. Pick your poison.

"I'm not that dumb, I just have dumb luck"

Sparky ode to be a cocky little shit smarter than your average bear but tentatively realizing you still don't understand the world around you. A braggadocious charm that is just unlike any similar-sounding artist that preceded or followed. As unique an anti-masterpiece among anything you've heard this decade, our wonderful dirty little secret

wow i really enjoyed this. there really aren't enough teen confessional albums, so i'm glad kitty pulled out all the stops and created an album with funny, acerbic lyrics. truly one-of-a-kind

Personality reigns supreme, and the no-budget production is absolutely sublime to boot. An unusually witty, fierce, brash talent not afraid to confront her vulnerabilities and shortcomings, and proof that a talented emcee like this can truly come from anywhere. She's remarkable, all Kitty needs is an honest, eager listen to have her spell cast thoroughly. DAISY Rage may be totally bewitching, but it's also got a soul, and that's what sets it apart from a lot of her fame-through-the-internet peers.

When I first listened to a song from Kitty I thought it was a satirical, purposely bad joke. However I came back to it and found out that I actually liked it, and in particular the contents of this release.

Now coming back to this a few months later... and damn I actually love this shit, and no exaggeration. I think I have all of the tracks memorized by heart after repeatedly listening to it, and I am terrible at remembering lyrics. (I've probably listened to every song on OK Computer dozens of times [and love them all] and I couldn't tell you more than a handful of lyrics on the album)

When a kitten tries its hand at rapping. Lyrics are mostly clever but it just doesn't change the fact that it's a kitten rapping these lines. Some may like cartoon hip hop but it has got to understatedly acknowledge it. Let me tell you something: I don't want to even rate this as music.
