Only one good track and that is a cover version of Sonny and Chers 1967 hit, which was covered by All Seeing I in 1997 & a No.11 hit single. All Seeing I then priduced Britneys cover.

cheesy pop, but not as bad as critics claim. There are much worse cash-grab attempts by other bands, "Baby one more time" at least had some "hits"

Belo disco de estréia, fabricado para as rádios, mas reinou no imaginário popular americano.
I quite like "you drive me (crazy)" & "sometimes", but other than that there's not much to recommend. it's just overly cloying teen-pop.

All things considered, not terrible. Hard to sustain the hit-making magic of the first few songs, but Britney tries hard enough.
A strange, sub-par debut that somehow took over the whole world. Not objectively awful, hell it's even a good teen-pop album, but the artificiality really shines through. There's not much here to vouch for, but I do like the earnestness and unpretentiousness of the whole record. "Sometimes", "(You Drive Me) Crazy" & "Born To Make You Happy" are catchy singles as well.
"If you play that record one more time I'm gonna melt it down into hair spray".
spears cant sing and this is boring
