Charting its own path with a distinctive singer-songwriter, whose strength lies in her unique ability to craft memorable pop songs. The hits are very strong, although tending toward commercialization. There are also some very strong album tracks, especially "Hey Stephen" and "The Best Day." By no means a masterpiece -- the length and the sameness of the instrumentation from song to song hold it back from that -- but definitely a strong debut. 9/10!

If Taylor Swift's debut shows she's got a strong foundation, Fearless builds on that foundation with tighter songwriting and production. Swift's romanticism and sense of melodrama is perfect. Yeah, it's a little homogenous, and by the end of this pretty long album, you get more than your fill. But there's enough color in this thing to come back to again and again.

Taylor doesn't do the best albums, but I like the individual songs a lot. You Belong with Me is awesome.

Very good Country Pop, a genre I have found new appreciation for with streaming!
This album is far from bad, but it's really overrated. There's nothing special about it, it's consistent and a good listen but not awesome. Love Story, White Horse, Forever and Always Tell Me Why are my favorite songs.
The undeniable breakthrough album for one of my favorite artists also contains my favorite track of hers (Forever & Always). Full of hits
