Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Sometimes all it takes is just one band to change everything and MONEY are that band. For starters, they're a classic Manchester band in the mould of the Buzzcocks, Joy Division, James et al and sound like the most important/beautiful thing right now. Rather than hide behind a cool facade or a fake pose, the music REACHES out, like they really mean it and understand that sometimes life can be a lonely, painful mess.
Y'know when the sun breaks through a mass of clouds to shine a solitary beam through the grey murk. MONEY is that sound. Somewhere snow is falling..all over
