A masterful keyboard player and programmer, this is a masterclass by Tomita. Jupiter to Saturn is chilling but introduces inevitably, acceptance and a return to a gentle lyrical joy. Superbly handled, Tomita marshalls batallions of space weaponry in Mars in a terrific crescendo. If you know Holst's wowrk,I urge you to hunt this out. There is a version in surround sound which is a great listen. But see if you dare listen to Jupiter / Saturn alone eyes closed and on the loud side and contemplate mortality. Enjoy!
