Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 63.3/100, a mean average of 63.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 63.1/100. The standard deviation for this album is 22.0.

My second favorite Green Day album after American Idiot. I much prefer 2000’s Green Day over 90’s Green Day.

The bonus track for the iTunes pre-order edition included a cover of Dylan's 'Like A Rolling Stone' - and they did a mighty fine job.

Doesn't have the sure fire hits of it's predecessor but the overall quality remains. An excellent album in it's own right although could do with being a bit shorter

When this album was released I think it failed to get out from under the massive shadow cast by its predecessor, and was largely seen as an inferior attempt to recreate it (see my earlier comment as an example). But over a decade later it really feels like it stands on it's own as another great Green Day album. It's much better than I gave it credit for at the time. Although I hope I'm proven wrong, this is perhaps the last great Green Day album.

Ambitious, quite consistent if you take into account its length, but not as memorable as their best albums. Overall, 75/100.

To me it's really good, definitely has an American Idiot vibe, but dare I say momentarily feels even better though overall it's not kinda masterpiece like AI. Actually and unfortunately, their last really good album.

This album is pretty good, maybe a little long, but I would say it is almost the same level as American Idiot.
