83.00 Great album. Epic stories envisioning horrific events. A true bard of the darker scale. His crooning is hypnotizing yet so gentle amid morbid tales. 'Death is not the end' is my personal pick of the bunch. His song writing and vocals make him one of a kind. Original brilliance.

83.00 This is an album I am massively conflicted over. It's got a darkness to it. It's has deep tones. Like a grunge Sabbath. But for some reason it's like I try to talk myself into not liking it. But after a couple of songs you can't help but see the caliber of superb song writing and structure throughout, and then you cannot not like it. My main gripe would be way to long for the style and tonality. 05/24

82.91 Hands down the best of all Placebo albums. The most consistent with the highest number of top quality songs with only a couple of tracks that fall into the filler category. Great rhythms, melodies and riffs. Surprising it's not rated higher within their cannon.

82.91 Driving rhythms right through. I don't like putting music into sub-genres but if we're going to lump this into the nu-metal category it ranks as one of the superior albums of that genre. One flaw is that it does have a very similar feel throughout but finishes with a nice change of pace with 'December'. Very under rated and deserves more credit than it's ever had.

Still love where they went which shows the caliber and how great the Stones are. They could change and adapt their sound and still be top of the game. Well done Stones. 08/26

I very much enjoyed looking over your chart best ever #201-300.
I have only a few of those on your chart, and not heard of alot let alone listened to most of them you listed.
What I liked best were your comments, I found them informative and helpful, one in particular made me laugh out loud, that is on 'the Presidents of the United States' which I have added to my wish list. I found it funny as ocassionally my other half tries to claim one of my CDs as hers, but after heated debate on when and where I bought it etc. She concedes.
I do have one issue though on the chart, that is that Nevermind by Nirvana is lower in the chart than the 2 Hot Chilli Peppers albums, and although I like the Chillis, Nevermind in my opinion eclipes Californication by loads.
Thanks anyway i look forward to reviewing your 01-100 & 101-200
I'll keep Uriah Heap & Slayer on a maybe list as I didn't particularly think much of their stuff, but the Ramones, I have their hits etc in compilations I've created but don't have any of their albums. I don't think the Chemical Brothers are the Kings of Electronic music, but maybe Lords. I'll think about revisiting them, as I heard most of their stuff at Raves, a part of my misbegotten early adulthood.
