Full of cheesiness and shamelessly derivative, but not as terrible musically as you might expect.
I guess this is the definition of a guilty pleasure. Lyrics are awful, everything sounds tacky and very 2000s, but melodies are great and in general it's pleasurable to listen to.

I do not say this lightly, but this is probably the worst album of it's genre and era. Just a colossal turd of epic proportions. Durst is at his Durstian worst, the most insufferable, immature, and embarrassing front man you can imagine. That this album sold millions will always baffle, and very much depress, me.
It's not as bad as it is made out to be, but it's not really that good either.

One of the more disgusting album titles ever, if they choose it to shock it doesn’t it’s just puriile frat boy toilet humour. I refuse to listen to this album on principle
maybe not the best album ever when musically talking.
but, dude, i simply cant listen to it without giving a giggle or two and y really enjoy it. we can learn from this that not all music has to "MAKE YOU REEVALUATE YOURSELF ANd LIFE AS A WHOLE" to make you enjoy it
The Dark Side of The Moon of 21 century is a term we often come across while talking about Limp Bizkit's masterpiece, Chocolate Starfish and Hot Dog Flavored Water. I think this comparison is offensive to Fred Durst's musical genius. Humanity still hasn't been able to top this perfect album and I highly doubt it ever will. A must listen to every music lover, 69/420 - Pitchfork
I understand what they're doing and I want to like it but I don't feel any real connection (the instrumentation isn't bad). I really don't feel like it's aged very well either.
