Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 47.7/100, a mean average of 44.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 44.9/100. The standard deviation for this album is 27.2.

Some cosmic order felt the need for a bizzare love child stewed from the DNA of Faith No More, Korn and House of Pain, and the world ended up shitting out Limp Bizkit. Basically a spot-on parody of the overgrown fratboy who thinks he's a brilliant freestyler, I wonder how much Fred Durst was in on the joke.
Limp Bizkit debut is underwhelming but hits it big with a cover of George Michael's faith.
Fred Durst hasn't made it big yet here so their sound is almost refreshing here without the bravado and the "I'm a macho success" approach Durst takes from here on out
And some kudos that they found a successful niche for a couple of years. Your breakthrough single being a cover usually doesn't spell a very long career.
But this album, like 95 percent of Limp Bizkit music, should be skipped and forgotten

'Faith' brought about a new wave of reimagined covers. "I know, lets take a pop song from the 80s, and re-record it with way more aggression and crotch thrusting - that will make it sound super bad-ass!" Limp Bizkit deserves to be forgotten.

Decent enough rap rock. It's not all the way there for me but Durst is less, uh, Dursty here, so it's probably a good place for someone who wants to give this band a chance to start.
