The only redeeming quality Limp Bizkit had previously was their light hearted fun approach to rock/rap nu metal.
While all their contemporaries tried to make deep confessional albums, Limp Bizkit rode the wave of success flipping the middle finger to everyone which at least made them different from the other nu metal riff raff
Results May Vary is an attempt at aging with grace and trying to be taken seriously.
They just aren't and never have been a good enough band to do that. The only song here worth keeping is a cover of Behind Blue Eyes.
Ironically, Limp Bizkit goes out the way they came in--on the heels of a successful cover song
The results here don't vary. This album is bad from start to finish. Without any hint of their usual lighthearted goofy charm, the Limp Bizkit schtick runs stale

Fred Durst and the boys are trying to sound more grown-up... What a flop. I hate to say it, but they sounded better when they were first pumping and crotch thrusting.
