Surprised that this beautiful album isn't at least in the Top 50 for 2006. It was shortlisted for the 2007 Mercury Prize and it is exceptional. Not a weak track anywhere to be found, although particular standout tracks are Bunker or Basement and the title track, The End of History. I return to this album again and again, it's become like an old friend.
