I very much enjoy the title track
About two thirds of it is excellent, but the other third, with one song in particular is really disappointing. Still, it's alright on the whole. Is this the last Doves album?

I remember I was disappointed when I listened to it for the first time - although (or because) I liked the earlier albums very much. This one grew on me almost everytime I listened to it, and pretty soon it became my favourite Doves album.
It is a pity that it still is the last record they released.
I respectfully disagree with jamessmith77... I say this is Doves best work.
Their weakest album but still got some quality songs on there, don't know about the slap bass on Compulsion though!
