This probably shouldn't be in my top 10 but I am biased toward pianists. He has too many good albums to pick just one, I saw him in concert in 1975 around the time "Koln Concert" came out, which was his breakthrough album...Check out "Staircase Pt. 3"...it is unbelievable.
