Jill Scott is a singer songwriter ,poet, actress who is sometimes referred to as the Queen of Neo-Soul. Her first three albums released by the Hidden Beach label - Who is Jill Scott, Beautifully Human & The Real Thing were also subtitled Words & Sounds Vols. 1-3 respectively. The best of these and still her best album is her debut Who is Jill Scott. She has released further albums but they have not hit the heights of her first 3 albums. She incorporates various styles in her music but mostly hip hop, jazz & soul. Her lyrics are as important as her music and she has a beautiful soprano voice to express herself.
