Heard about Matt Berry's music career years ago, through one of his songs being included in the weekly Spotify playlist, but I never bothered to really dive deeper. I already knew him through his acting work, of course, but was somewhat skeptical - actors who dabble in music often do just that, they dabble. It ends up sounding like a hobby and nothing more. Berry's music, though, is actually very good from what I've heard of it so far (his first couple of albums, Opium and Witchazel). Not exactly original, but very accomplished and musically interesting bits of psychedelic folk and pop. Look forward to exploring further.
