Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. An eclectic mix for sure. Nice to see Kevin Ayers in the top 30, his first four solo albums are essential listening.

With 16 albums and 20 artists in common our tastes do overlap quite a bit. I\'m admittedly biased, but no Canadian albums? Here\'s a list to get you started looking into that omission: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Top_100_Canadian_Albums\r\n... with the proviso that this list is quite Toronto-centric and does short shrift on the great music from our east and west coasts...\r\n

I like this a lot. It's very 1970s heavy, but that's my favourite decade too.

So great to see stuff like Nina Hagen Band, Boz Scaggs,Ry Cooder, Devo besides all the usual suspects. I'm always shocked at how uniform and limited and conventional the taste is of so many people here. I could tell you're a very independent music listener. You don't need anyone to tell you what's good and what's not. Heh heh. That's what I like to see.
