1. Radiohead- OK Computer-
Resemblant of Pink Floyd in some songs. Great lyricism, a bit hard to interpret sometimes. My copy of the CD is way overplayed, and is simply the best I have ever heard. I like the Bob Dylan tribute in the title of "Subterranean Homesick Alien".
2. Revolver-
The first "psychedelic" album ever made. This is the first utterly serious rock album ever produced. My favorite on this album is "Tomorrow Never Knows" especially the beginning, where the pace of the drums and the base entering is rather disorienting.
3. Pink Floyd- The Dark Side of the Moon
The first half of the album is one of the purest sounding albums ever. I'm pretty sure it's heavily edited in the studio due to access to technology that couldn't be reached before, but who cares? If that's what it takes to produce an awesome sounding track, then it deserves the spot.
