Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Vielen dank für den netten Kommentar zur meiner Liste.
Das hier ist auch ne klasse Liste. TV on the Radio absolut verdient. Freut mich auch für Wir sind Helden und Blood Money (wird sehr unterschätzt). In die Lhasa muss ich wirklich mal reinhören. Habe sie schon seit 5 Jahren und nie wirklich gehört.
Aber was Adam Green hier in dieser Liste macht, versteh ich absolut nicht... Sogar zweimal!!!

Another superb chart.
As with your other charts, some very discerning live albums. I haven't heard John Cale's Circus Live - must get this one.
Alice is one of my favourite Tom Waits albums too.
So happy you found room for Drawn from Life - what a gorgeous record.
