I've only been able to create year charts in the last 1/4 of this year and so have been focusing elsewhere mostly. I'm aware this probably isn't the most unique list, but I'm catching up and hopefully there is one or two interesting choices. Anyway, recs/criticism most welcome!

This is a terrific 2013 chart! Some albums I'd like to single out for special praise include White Lighter (powerful reflections on the lasting effects of debilitating illness), Southeastern (lyrically and musically one of the best albums of the decade), Torres (saw her live in support of this album, which was a great experience), and Wakin on a Pretty Daze (which deservedly gets a lot of love here on BEA). Looking forward to checking out More Light, which I haven't yet heard.

Cheers guys, I'm updating this all the time, trying to catch up on what I've missed!
Andy- I've always loved Babyshambles so perhaps that skews my thinking slightly but its a solid album in my book. I feel like it's a bit over polished at times which is a shame because part of the 'Shambles charm is their ramshackleness (should be a word). Petes voice is strong though and there is a bit of variety. Dr No, New Pair & Minefield would probably be my picks. Give it a go and see what you think.
