These are albums that connect with me and move me on a deep level - when I listen to them, they take me some place else. That's my primary criteria for inclusion.
As pointed out, this is an "odd conglomeration" - I wish I could figure out how to retitle my chart that way!

Love your chart. Very eclectic.
I would be interested to see your own comments on these albums.
I too am a big fan of The Plateaux of Mirror.
I have an almost complete collection of both Budd and Eno and I view this principally as a Harold Budd album.
It's him playing the keys.

ah, i see. it's actually made its way into my list now as it seems to be the eno album i reach for by default when looking to turn myself down..
telefunker: Ambient 4: is credited to Harold Budd & Brian Eno, though in my readings about the album it seems that Harold Budd is the primary composer of the pieces and Eno "treated" the results kind of like an arranger. I should change the artist to Harold Budd & Brian Eno, which is how it usually appears.

plateux of mirror is quality.. technically it's a brian eno album though, right?
