Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 78.9/100, a mean average of 75.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.7/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 20.1.

Woah. This is a great chart for us prog rock lovers. I wouldn't dare say too much prog and I find other genres very good too, but what I can't avoid critizysing the guy who said "too much Pink Floyd" when you have only 4 of their albums. Surprising, though, that we don't have that many albums in common.
Please include some comments so that I can know better the albums I don't from here, which I will listen to sooner or later.
okay too much Prog for me
Find a few albums a bit the same but there all very good the ones I know.
Lots to like but the chart is pretty narrow in type

Good list, I like to see some love for non English or American music and especially for the progressive rock. 24 bands in common is so much. I have to try some bands like Aeyron or Sabaton.
Classical Prog-Rock with some New Art Rock picks.
Good. Like the german picks: "Pompeii" and "Ricochet".
