"Ever wondered what it would sound like if Springsteen was in My Bloody Valentine? Well, this is it! I hear so many influences on this record: Dylan, Petty, Knopfler, Gabriel, as well as MBV and the Boss. But it isn't derivative; it's blue collar rock with an indie update. I realize that probably ..."  [+]  Reply

"In representing 90s brit-pop one can chose Blur's Parklife, this album or either of their first two Oasis records according to preference. For me it isn't close. Jarvis is the most British of the bunch capturing Albarn's campiness and the Galleghar brothers bravado in one fail swoop. Lust licenti..."  [+]  Reply

"I find it impossible to say that this one or that one is the best Pink Floyd album. I own 14 or 15 and love everyone of them just like children. They are all different and have personalities. Meddle is great and I could listen to Echoes on an endless loop. The one Pink Floyd album that can't seem..."  [+]  Reply

"Frank Ocean is overly ambitious on this album, concidering how much filler there is on the album. Pyramids is one of the greatest songs released in a long time, Thinkin' Bout You is a soothing R'n'B tune and Lost's groovy beat gets me everytime, but over all the album seems overlong and uneven. I..."  [+]  Reply

"After listening to it the first few times, I enjoyed it and the standout tracks were Sim sala bim, and helplessness blues. After a week or so, some of the tracks grow on you so much - they have a nack of making you want to listen to each track over and over again! So after around 5 months of list..."  [+]  Reply

"Birds chirp in the trees outside my room, particularly in the morning. One day I woke up, opened the window, and played Ys while hearing the birds in the background. It brought the record to new levels of awesome."  Reply

"Well, this comment previously had a link to the Red Krayola song 'Listen to This', but I removed it, as I don't think Mayo Thompson's way of saying the sentence sounds like he's refering to anything else but the sound that comes afterwards. My intention was of course to get Mayo Thompson to tell ..."  [+]  Reply

"Best album by one of the greatest American rock bands. John Fogerty is also one of the great American songwriters as well (he was an absolute hit factory). He's also got one of the best rock voices as well. Any CCR album is good but get this one first!"  Reply
