A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Lots of indie classics; in fact almost all indie classics. I notice Daniel Johnston is the only man who sits outside of the BEA top 1000 (who isn't a new release). I like your taste I really do but I'd love to see some more of your own personality come through, maybe with the addition of some notes? Nice chart though keep it up!

I've already commented here but coming back to say this has to be my favorite chart on this site. I *love* every album in the top 10, and have 42 in common overall, despite not having any Brockhampton on my chart or The Holy Bible, both of which I adore. We could probably have 60 in common if I rearranged my chart.
