I just wanted to stress that altough this list is numbered, it's not necessarily in order. The numbering is only very general, and doesn't completely indicate which albums I like better or not. These are simply 40 of my favorite albums. And yes, it'll become obvious which bands I'm a fanboy ofby the number of albums listed for them....I couldn't resist adding multiple albums for some bands.

Although there's only 1 album and 3 artists in common to my top 50, I think we share a very similar taste in music. You've obviously got a lot of the greats within the genre on your list, while also getting newer music in there.
Definitely a lot of albums that would make my top 100 once I'm allowed to include that many.
