Dream pop I like because it takes me to a place that I felt was good, nice and warm, bereft of anything evil. Clinging to a scheme is that. Lofi, warm dreamy and good. [First added to this chart: 12/08/2023]

Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 82.3/100, a mean average of 81.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 81.9/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 12.8.

Great mix. For sure, I'll have to check out some unfamiliar albums on your list. Well done!

Now I don't dislike the chart or your taste. Just giving a recommendation here, I think it'd be good to spice the chart up a bit more with more variety. Do you think 6 Beatles albums is a necessity?

Very nice chart. I'm curious to know how it would be with only one album per artist though... Also I'm happy to see Pink Floyd, Led and Beatles on top 10 because that's for sure where they deserve to be but I think a little more personal touch would be interesting too.
