I'm not ashamed to say I regularly listened to ELO at your age and Time is still a big favorite. Eldorado was actually on my first chart four years ago. Jeff Lynne is definitely underrated. I also grew up on the Beatles and other 60s British rock acts mostly, but with time things have changed a lot. Becoming independent, relationships, work, seeing your friends move away, making new friends etc... I think our charts are the best portrait of who we are today. I've changed. The jazz, post-punk, noise only came much later, probably when I needed that music in my life. I'm not being judgmental and love your chart in the same way I would recognize a photo of my younger self. I hope you'll hear the beauty in my chart some day.

Oh and this kind of drunk posting only came later too.

It's pretty hilarious how uncool this chart is xD Beatles everywhere, some U2, Muse, Kings of Leon, Oasis, Foo Fighters, Queen... God even if I tried I couldn't do better.

That said, I still think it's good, if not very good. It severely lacks variety, but it does feature unknown gems to discover, and it just couldn't be more honest. Each time I check it, I like your chart more ^^

And yeah, it was 5 a.m. when I wrote my album comments, I was fucking tired, but I wanted to finish, so when I didn't know what to say, I just typed random letters xD

I like all your comments, ratings and tracks ranking very much, as well as a good portion of albums on your chart (Beatles, PF, King Crimson, Bowie, Flaming Lips, Sigur Ros, Cure, Zombies, Pixies...). What I don't like at all, is the chart itself.

Beatles! Beatles everywhere! Solo works by Beatles, too! And then Muse, Coldplay, U2, 80's Queen, Muse again... I have nothing against those bands, though. I just don't think they are great (bar the Beatles, of course). Seeing so much albums by them in a single chart is really unpleasant. What makes me dislike it so much is the cruel lack of variety. When I look at a chart, what I want to see is diversity. Diversity of genres, of decades, of bands, of albums... and of tastes. I don't mind if people have music I hate on their charts.

As I said, I like (and even love) many albums on your chart, but that doesn't stop it from being... boring. I don't pretend mine is more interesting, but I think there are enough Beatles charts on this site. Try the one album per artist rule, it's a great and easy way to instantly make a chart more interesting. And not a single hip hop album? You seem to have a great musical culture, and I'm sure you can make way better than that.

I give you 45 for now, but I'm sure it can become a 100 if you make it more enjoyable. Good luck ;-)

Just as a result of your comment on my chart, I had to come back here and take another look. I didn't mean to target out anything in particular, sorry if it felt like that! It was just surprising to see it that high is all. Honestly I like that album I just don't know if it's QUITE top 10. Thanks for mentioning it because it should probably be in my chart frankly. And Kid A is my least favorite album on here, not that, for what it's worth :)

And as to your comments on my chart I'm glad you liked it! A few of those albums were just pure random luck (Charlie Nobles came from a friend in Australia, Nattvitje came as a recommendation as a replacement for a track on a mixtape a friend gave me). Glad to have helped find some music, possibly!

Last but not least, I hadn't actually noticed your name. Thank you for that Beatles reference, I really do appreciate that :D
