Clapton's masterpiece. Him and Duane paired together excellently, and the music just came together with this group. They had potential to be better than Cream, but sadly we saw how it went.

Sabbath's sophomore effort popularized Heavy Metal and helped define it. Amazing songs and playing all around. Geezer Butler's lyrics deserve a shout out too.

One of my favorite Zeppelin albums, I'm astonished it's not at the top of the list. Just one of their most consistent and enjoyable overall albums, with Plant in his prime and lots of musical exploration for them.

The Stooge's second effort is a classic. Proto punk garage rock at its finest, and the final album the Stooges made before they broke up and came back as Iggy and the Stooges.

The true final Velvet Underground album. The label wanted an album "loaded" with hits, and that's what they got. Very poppy and fun, Lou Reed's best in that category.

Black Sabbath's debut is a monster of an album. To the terrifying opening track, to the epic riffs of N.I.B. and The Wizard, this album very easily compete with their second as their best.

Deep Purple's best in my opinion. Child In Time and Speed King are my favorite tracks by the band, and the rest of the album is just as legendary as those two.

An essential Hard Rock album. Lesley West was a guitar king and played just as good if not better than his more popular contemporaries.
