Yes, I know. "Sgt. Pepper's" isn't Number 1, what can I say. I love Abbey Road, I grew up wearing this album out. It showcased George Harrison's songwriting talents (Here Comes the Sun and Something) as well as Ringo's only midly impressive drum fill-in of his whole career (The End). It's a great album that holds up well with time.

I could've done without "Four Sticks", but other than that the album is nothing but lyrical and melodical genius.

A flawless fusion of classical music, pop, and experimental sounds that made this album a lot of fun to listen to growing up and still is.

The lyrics and music are just downright dirty with the blues with infectious grooves from Richards and Taylor, but damnit it's such a great album that highlights the Stones at their finest.
