This was the year I began the move from vinyl to CD. I bought my first CD after holding out for years. Why? Vinyl was becoming harder to find, more expemsove and my record player broke down.

Don't let them being Celtic fans put you off. Go and see them live, but take ear protectors. They mage the windows rattle in the Liverpool venue where I saw them.

This is such a great album. I love having Aggi singing. I only managed to see them live once and it was long before this album. I can remember having a Pastels badge on my denim jacket pocket.

I wish I had discovered Pavement when they were still together. I would have loved to see them live.

This is a beautiful album from Nick Cave. It is a big departure from his earlier work. Blixa Bargeld's guitar adds the touch of genius to many of the songs.

Adrian Sherwood remixed tracks to create this album. It has an annoying doorbell sound on it, but it has som great stuff in there too.
