82.72 Shit hot metal album. They combine the elements of power metal, thrash, NWOBHM and classic metal into one. No weak spots on this at all. Very consistent. Top class album

82.50 Great sound for a two piece. Quite rightly heralded as their best album even though it was commercially pushed. It's the wide musical variety throughout this that makes this stand apart from their other albums. My favorite from them.

82.27 Bit more of a jolting tone and some sharper turns on most tracks than what was on previous albums. Song quality not quite matching either, but on that being said, this is still a great album with some outstanding tracks. Even when QOTSA make a sub par album for their standards, it's still an album that fucks over most that are put out by other bands. You can't fail with a QOTSA album. 04/24

82.27 With this album a lot of tracks have a faster tempo and a heavier rock sound than this other albums. Great album. Title track being one of my personal favorites from him. There's a couple of fillers but overall the majority of the album is pretty solid. Surprised it's not ranked higher among his catalog.

82.00 The great thing with Primal Scream is they have such a mix of styles but it can all come under the same umbrella. This boasting a heap of very catchy rock, bluesy rock n roll, psychedelia but all with a country tinge. My favorite Scream album and one I feel is majorly overlooked 04/24

81.81 Their second album. Even though it is flanked by superior albums immediately before and after, this is still a great effort. It's just the higher number of fillers on this that stop it being level par. This was the first of their albums I got. Thought it was great at the time. Always fantastic when the other albums you then get from a band at a later date turn out to be way better. Music fucking rules.

81.66 I'm surprised they're not way bigger in the metal world as this is a fucking decent album. Good mix of industrial, classic & nu metal blended together in a sharp defined sound of their own. Plus to have Jello Biafra as a guest vocalist gets thumbs up from me.

81.25 Up tempo garage rock. Short sharp feel good tracks. What you expect from a Hives album. Another one of two tracks like 'Diabolic Scheme' would be good, as the change of pace gives the album a break from just having one speed and makes the tracks that follow it more enjoyable. Great album. I like it.

Top notch solo effort. I've always liked Serj's vocals and style and this doesn't disappoint. Not equal to his SOAD work but still bloody great. Better than expected and has held the test of time well also.
