"This was Sandy Denny's third solo-album. On her second album, the much acclaimed "Sandy", she had begun a slow departure from her folk-music roots. On this album you probably would not have thought of there being any folk-roots at all, if it had not been for her backing band consisting of people ..."  [+]  Reply

"This ticks all of the quo boxes for me. Non of that sappy, later career stuff here. Dead’s down, no none sense boogie. Roll over lay down, Caroline, forty five hundred times. What’s not to love."  Reply

"I've never understood why this album is so unpopular. After Made in Japan it's the one I listen to the most. The moments of poppy psychedelia in Mary Long, Woman from Tokyo and our Lady give a glimpse of where Deep Purple might have headed had Gillan & Glover not left. Also, it's a shame that Pai..."  [+]  Reply

"A cult classic, with Milton at his most experimental. Almost completely instrumental (because the lyrics were censored by the deeply corrupt military dictatorship that held Brazil hostage for over 20 years), with influences from native americans sounds and music from the Andes. May be a little ha..."  [+]  Reply

"The beginning of Zé's most experimental period (which never really ended). Not as celebrated as the posterior "Estudando o Samba", but it's as good. Better heard with headphones. The cover is legendary and it's my favourite of a Brazilian record. It is said that the marble was photographed on top..."  [+]  Reply

"One of those records that people make their minds up prior to hearing it that it is utter shit. Then listen to it and reluctantly admit its not that bad. If you read the notes in the gatefold he says " it is my personal conception of their characters in relation to keyboard instruments". Now, see..."  [+]  Reply

"JJ rippin’ it up. Formidable and vulnerable in equal measure. Take Another Piece of My Heart is my favourite but there are a lot of great songs on this album. When Janis sings she can make a good song great."  Reply
