People are way too harsh on these guys here. But I do agree that they never really evolved. Then again, I can still enjoy all their albums.
These guys have a lot of potential. Great musicians and I really love some of their work.
Siren Song of the Counter Culture and The Sufferer and the Witness are both fantastic albums. Paper Wings is the first song I ever heard that I absolutely loved. It made me become a huge fan of the alternative genre. I probably wouldn't be on this site if it wasn't for these guys.
Unfortunately, they haven't developed experimentally or musically in the last 10 years. So much potential, just unable to capitalize.
Awesome band, especially 'Prayer of the refugee' and 'Savior'.

Points for potential and A for effort. Rise Against showed promise, but never moved forward from The Sufferer and The Witness. A decent band, but not much else.
