He may have developed into a great songwriter and released some great albums but I find Grace to be thoroughly boring and grossly over-rated.
Have to disagree with junodog4 on one point. I think that his legacy would have been greatly enhanced if he had lived. I'm convinced that he would have produced even greater albums than Grace. He had the talent to be considered up their with the true greats like Dylan & Young.
Best voice ever, gone too soon...
junodog4One of the most beautiful voices ever. If he had made more albums, his legacy may have suffered. But what a single album it was. Stay away from the post-mortem milking that has happened on subsequent releases.

Best singer ever period.
Also a GREAT GREAT guitar player / song writer.
Mojo Pin is my favourite followed by Hallelujah, Grace and Last Goodbye. Dream Brother is also an amazing track.
I think Jeff and his band were out of this world. They were a highly refined group, who supported each other, always atuned to Jeff's energy. They were a compact unit that delivered music from heaven. 5 stars for Jeff and the 3 Ms!!!
