Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 1% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 84.3/100, a mean average of 83.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 84.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.2.

Not really for me, too much ambient filler. Fearless is a nice song. Echoes is good but far too long. If it were 6 minutes long I'd love it, but dragging it out for 23 minutes is bound to lessen the quality. I enjoy much of Pink Floyd's work but not this album.

A bunch of nonsense on the first end, with some sprinkling of good music here and there.

And then probably the best song ever on the other side.

Hard record to rate.

Echoes is a timeless piece of music, and other songs on this album like One of These Days and Fearless are excellent too!

The "Eternal Second" from PF discography: everybody loves this album, basically do not know anyone who puts it as their favourite from Pink Floyd.

Diría que hasta ahora, que me faltan escuchar Animals y Wish You Were Here, es mi #2 album favorito de Pink Floyd después de The Dark Side of the Moon, y comparte el 2do puesto con The Piper at the Gates of Dawn.
