- Post subject: What are some essential Punk albums from any decade?

I've been really interested in getting into Punk. I know some of the big albums like Nevermind the Bollocks and London Calling, but outside of those select few, I'm not really sure where to start. One recent Punk band I like are Turnstile. Any recommendations for this newbie? Thanks for any suggestions in advance!
Also what are the identifiers of a Punk band or album? Is it the attitude? I'm a bit confused when it comes to identifying when something is Punk, since Punk has quite a few styles that I'm unfamiliar with.

I know in terms of this century there's significantly less to choose from but I think this album is pretty ambitious and is definitely worth noting. Some might disagree but it feels massive!

If you enjoyed Gun Club's stuff, give this one a go. I just love it! It's visceral and gorgeous at the same time.
