"Most underrated album of 2009 next to Fantasies by Metric. Does this website or do the people on it have something against catchy modern alternative pop/rock music? Because this stuff is actually really good if you drop the preconceptions and just give it a chance. I don’t think there’s a single ..."  [+]  Reply

"Greetings from Asbury park, is one of the great singer/songwriter debuts. It's still a little short on identity, which is fair enough, and certainly has Springsteen's influences on show in a kind of hybrid of Bob Dylan and Van Morrison. The production is a bit muddy, and a lot of the songs would ..."  [+]  Reply

"In 1978 the Queen band came up with an more relaxed and unpretentious album. Although without the complexity of previous albums, JAZZ are one of the most enjoyable albuns of the band. "Don´t Stop Me Now", "Leaving Home Ain't Easy" and my favorite "In Only Seven Days", with sweet and beautiful mel..."  [+]  Reply

The Harder They Come
Soundtrack compilation
"A very good collection of songs here. The first one, You Can Get It If You Really Want, was the strongest for me. Most the tracks on this album are very uplifting in their mood and there are few which I would call weak. Harder They Come and Sitting In Limbo are also highlights."  Reply

"Good blues, with some of Clapton's best playing outside of Layla propelling it to classic level. If you like Clapton, it's an absolute must. If you like blues, I recommend a listen at the least."  Reply

"Perfect autumnal music. She mixes drone, echoes, and guitar to make something that really sounds like no other album. Can this be characterized as ghostly folk? Each song is recognizable so no need to worry if you're going to get a monotonous album here."  Reply

"While it isn't my favorite Mothers release, I do think it is the perfect culmination of all the ideas present in the early part of Zappa's career. It has the pop flavor of Freak Out as well as the heavy jazz influence of Hot Rats."  Reply

"In addition to "The Funeral", the last 3 tracks are also phenomenal with "Monsters" being one of my favorite songs EVER! With those 4 amazing tracks, the rest of the songs could've been a collection of fart noises and I still would have loved this album. Luckily for the listener the other tracks ..."  [+]  Reply

"One of those debuts where all the pieces are there, and there are even a few strong highlights, but there's plenty of room for improvement. Luckily, we know just how much room The Cure is able to find moving forward. Relative to their highs, it's hard not to see Three Imaginary Boys as much more ..."  [+]  Reply
